Breast Check

Breast Cancer is the most common female cancer in Ireland. Breast screening helps find cancer at an early stage. The National Breast Check Service  is a government funded programme which provides screening for woman aged 50 to 69. You can register for Breast Check here. If you are not aged between 50 and 69 and are worried about any symptoms you might have, please make an appointment at reception.

It is important to be breast aware. This means knowing what is normal for you, so you'll notice any unusual changes. The earlier you notice a change the better. If cancer is found early, treatment is more likely to be successful. You should check your breasts at least once a month. Watch the video below to find out how to check your breasts.

Cervical Smears

Cervical Smears are provided free of charge to women aged 25 to 60, to check the health of the cervix. If you have received your Cervical Check letter please contact reception to make an appointment. Find more information about Cervical screening here. To check if you are registered and/or due for Cervical check please check here.
